The classic Rock N Roll Billboards on the Sunset Strip were not only a showcase for the amazing musical talent of that period, but also a veritable drive-thru gallery displaying the artistic work of an elite group of graphic designers, illustrators and photographers like Norman Seeff who created this imagery for Joni Mitchell, and who had a studio not far from where this billboard was posted.
